Richard Phan
Richard Phan is an entrepreneur passionate about technological innovation.
With parents who left Vietnam in the 1950s, Richard was born in Paris. He earned his engineering degree and worked in Paris before moving to Grenoble to join Hewlett-Packard. The following year, Richard and his family relocated to Santa Clara, California. During his seven years in Silicon Valley, Richard worked in Cupertino, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale for Hewlett-Packard, Handspring, and Palm Computing. Upon returning to France in 2004, Richard and his family settled in Annecy.
An entrepreneur since 2011, Richard is now a Member, Elected Administrator, and Board Member of the Réseau Entreprendre Haute-Savoie. This association supports business leaders in launching or acquiring enterprises. Richard has also volunteered with 100,000 Entrepreneurs (an organization dedicated to instilling the spirit and desire to pursue entrepreneurship in youth aged 13 to 25) and 60,000 Rebonds (an organization that helps entrepreneurs who have liquidated their businesses transition to new professional projects).
Today, Richard is based in Lyon and continues to focus on innovation, product development, CO2 capture, and Artificial Intelligence.
